Grand National

The jump racing season is now in full swing as the key festivals are just several months away as anticipation continues to build for racing fans. First it is the stunning four day meeting at Cheltenham that sees the best of the best take each other on for the prestigious prize and top prize money that is on offer. Just weeks after it is the World’s most famous race around Aintree which is of course the Grand National. The prestigious race is always incredibly competitive and the 2018 renewal is set to be no different.

The latest Grand National betting has the Nigel Twiston Davies trained Blaklion as the current 12/1 favourite. This comes as no surprise as the horse seems to come alive round those famous fences which was shown in the 2017 edition of the national as he looked to have the race in the bag before committing for home to early and finishing just 8 ¾ length back in fourth. This was then followed by his recent domination of the normally ultra-competitive Becher handicap chase by 9 lengths. It is clear that Blaklion has a fantastic chance to enhance his trainer’s impressive record of two winners in this prestigious race. Check out the infographic below to find out all you need to know about the Grand National festival.
